Manual

Setting it up

Six switches that everything starts with. They apply per sales channel, so you can set them differently in the German shop than in the Austrian one.

The six switches

Activate plugin

Should the plugin be activated for this sales channel? With the switch off there is neither the form nor the entry in the customer account.

status

Activate procedures

Should the customer select a desired procedure per product? Anyone who only wants the reason switches this off - the second select per row then disappears.

procedureStatus

Activate checklist

Does the customer have to actively confirm a checklist before creating a return shipment? All questions of this checklist are mandatory and must be ticked.

Output label API error messages

Should the error message of the DHL/UPS API be shown to the customer in the storefront? Otherwise the customer only sees a standard message and the detail goes to the log.

outputLabelApiError

Provide note to print document

The notice appears when the customer wants a label before fetching the document - and only once.

provideDocumentNote

Activate order search

Shows guests the search by surname and email or postcode.

The checklist is a window, not a section

Where it appears

On the click that creates the return - not on the closing page. Only once every box is ticked is the return filed.

What is in it

Every entry is a record of its own with an internal name and a translatable text. The text may carry markup, so a link to the withdrawal policy is possible.

Per sales channel

Like reasons and procedures, checklist entries can be assigned to a sales channel. Empty means it applies everywhere.
