Returned is not the same as saleable
Part of a return goes back on the shelf, part goes in the bin. That is why this plugin books nothing by itself - you decide per line.
The situation
Three items come back: one unopened, one worn, one broken. An automatism would book all three and leave you with three phantom stock figures.
Tick, then book
The return lists every line with quantity, product number, reason and procedure. You tick the ones going back on sale and press the button for booking the marked products into stock.
A marker prevents the double booking
Every line carries a booked into stock flag. Open the same case again two weeks later and you will not accidentally book a second time - the plugin skips lines already booked and says so.
Do you want to book the marked products back into stock in the specified quantity? Please note that products that have already been booked will not be booked in again.
And the warning you would not expect
Above the list stands a notice from the plugin itself: a voucher may have been redeemed in the order that changed the price of the products. For refunds and credit notes that is the mistake you otherwise notice afterwards.
Attention: a voucher may have been redeemed in the associated order, which may affect the price of the items. Please note discounted prices when refunding or issuing credits!
